We're back!

Today book bags and homework went home. Please remember to return both on Friday. I also sent home a note about bringing in a colorful sock for a holiday project.

Reminder- we have P.E. on Monday and Tuesday. Please send kids to school with athletic shoes on those days.

Our class is collecting change for Pennies for Peace. If you have any spare coins please bring them to school, for our coin jar.

sight word games

I updated the sight word games to include our new words! My favorite is the matching game.

"I liked when we did math," said Sasha.

"I loved when we went to music," said Isabella.

"I liked going to computer class," said Hana.

"It was fun painting the plates," said Mia.

Have a wonderful Veterans Day holiday tomorrow. Today we wrote letters to veterans, which I will be mailing on Wednesday.

"I liked when we did directed draw of the turkey," said Dylan.

Sasha said, "I liked when we did math."

"I liked when we read There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie," said Jordyn.

"It was fun when we read the Hilda Hen book and I liked when we read all of the Thanksgiving Books," said Royce.

Maya said, "I liked when we read Thanksgiving Day."

Hana said, "I liked going to P.E."

Adam said, "I liked when we read The New Kid on The Block."

"I liked the timed addition test," said Nicole.

New homework packets went home today.
