"It was fun when we went to the library," explained Madison.

"I had fun when I went downstairs to play," said Aviv.

"I liked when we did the kite math," said Dylan.

"Today in class, me and Trey played with the Legos and it was fun," added Royce.

Frog and Toad

"It was fun when we went on the field trip to Frog and Toad," explained Maya.

"My favorite part of the play was when Toad was struggling on the sled," added Royce.

"I liked when we went on the bus. It was fun!" exclaimed Sasha.

"It was fun when Kyla and me played on the bus," said Madison.

"Today it was fun when we went to computers," exclaimed Jordyn.

I have a dream...

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. we wrote about our dreams.

We had a very busy day in Room 125. We read and wrote about hermit crabs. Mrs. McEvoy came to visit. We also had music and computer lab. Wow!

Please remember that homework is due tomorrow, anthology textbooks, library books and permission slips need to be returned. Study for your spelling test tomorrow!

Many important items were sent home today: homework packets, an anthology book, a snowman family project (due Jan.19) and a permission slip for our upcoming fieldtrip, A Year With Frog and Toad.

Most Friday afternoons we have PDR in room 125. This is an opportunity for the students to build with legos, watercolor, draw with markers, color on white boards and other fun activities. Here is what we were up to today:

Homework packets and book bags went home Monday. Both are due back on Friday. Please remember to send students to school with PE friendly shoes on Monday and Tuesday.
