Nice job, Mrs. Levy. I especially like the comparisons you make to other books so we know what kind of story we might be enjoying with your suggestion.
Plus, I'm a fan of suckers, so you had me with The Big Red Lollipop.
I am heading to the library today. Thanks for encouraging summer reading!
I liked your video and will look in the library for some of those books for my little brother and sister. My name is Miriam and I am nine years old. I was in Mrs. Yollis' class last year. I also have a blog and here is the URL: http://victoria-miriamsmoments.blogspot.com/.
My favorite books that I have read this summer are Julie of the Wolves by Jean Craighead George and Black Beauty by Anna Sewell. Julie of the Wolves is about a girl who lives with the wolves and tries to survive. Black Beauty is about a horse who gets sold to different owners and finally ends up with his first owner again.

Have you ever read them?
