Jack-O-Lantern Big and Scary

  1. Dear Mrs. Levy,

I still remember the poem "Jack-0-Lantern Big and Scary." How many poems have you gone through so far? I am Mrs. Levy's former student so I have gone through all of the poems. My favorite poem was "Christopher Columbus." What was your favorite poem? The Christopher Columbus poem went like this:"In fourteen hundred ninety two, Columbus sailed the ocean blue. For many weeks he was at sea with the sailing ship number three. The Nina, PiƱata, and the Santa Maria. The world wasn't flat. MAMA MIA!" It was really funny! :-D

If I were Christopher Columbus, I will turn back. Would you?

    Your former student,
    Heather

P.S. He planed to go to Asia to find gold, but instead he found conole and hammocks from an island from North America.

    1. Wow, Heather! Great comment. I imagine that Barbados was probably quite beautiful, I'm not sure I would turn back. I would want to swim around the island a few times first.

This week our poem is "5 Little Ghosts." Do you remember that one?
