Amazon Rainforest

Today our cruise ship landed in South America.

We read about this fabulous, diverse continent.  Listened to rainforest sounds and then drew rainforest pictures as groups.

What do you want to learn about South America?  Do you know any facts about South America?

Do you think it will be different than Antarctica?

  1. There are a lot of plants and animals in South America. There are rain forests in South America and sometimes it floods there. I think it will be different than Antarctica especially the weather.

  2. Jaguars are the biggest and strongest animals in the Amazon. I think there will be more animals in the Amazon than in Antartica.
