Jambo!
We are now in the continent of Africa. Africa is the world's second largest continent. The longest river in the world is in Africa, do you know what it is? For homework in the next two weeks, we will be studying the animals of Africa and writing reports. What is your African animal, and what is one fun fact about your animal.
My favorite animal is a giraffe. They roam all over Africa running at a speed of 55 km/hour, which is really fast.

My favorite African animal is a zebra. Zebras have black and white stripes on their bodies, and each individual has its own unique pattern of stripes! Zebras also sleep while standing.

My favorite african animal is a hyena. Hyenas make a sound that we think resembles a laugh, but is actually their form of communication. Hyenas also have look very similar to dogs!
