Bon Voyage!

Did you hear?

Room 125 is going on a trip!  We are going to travel to all seven continents and learn about the geography, famous landmarks, animals and people.  Today we talked about what we would pack in our backpacks for our trip.

We also graphed which continent we would like to travel to most. The winner was Antarctica.

If you were able to travel anywhere in the world where would you go?

  1. Dear Mrs. Levy and class,

If I could travel anywhere in the world I would go to New Zealand and Australia. (Or Australasia as I recently learned it was called!)
Because I have met so many people there through blogging, I'd like to go and visit them face to face!

Plus, I want to see a wombat and a kangaroo!

    Your friend,
    Mrs. Y♥llis

  2. If I was able to travel anywhere in the world, I would go to Australia. I would want to go during the Australian Open so that I can watch some great tennis there. I also really want to go on a safari and see kangaroos. Lastly, it would be fun to swim in the same Pacific Ocean all the way across the world. Hopefully I can take a trip to Australia this coming summer!

  4. If I could travel anywhere in the world I would have to say it would be Chicago. I have so many family members in Chicago and I love the atmosphere of a big, bustling city. Seeing the tallest tower in the U.S., being with family, and seeing my favorite athlete and team on the planet(Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls) definitely sounds like a great trip to me!

  5. Dear Mrs Levy and class,
Well, that is certainly a tough question since there are so many amazing places in the world. However, if I had to pick one place it would be Africa. I was lucky to have gone there many years ago and I thought seeing the African animals in their natural environment was incredible. If I could go back, I think I would go to Botswana and see the mountain gorillas.

  7. If I was able to travel anywhere in the world, I would like to travel to Paris, France. I would like to travel to Paris because I think the city is very beautiful and has many tourist attractions. I really would like to see the Eiffel Tower, eat a French cuisine, look at artwork, and tour the streets of Paris. I think that a trip to Paris would also be a great opportunity to experience more of the European culture. I hope I will be able to visit Paris at some point in my life! :)

  8. If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go to Italy because Italian food is my absolute favorite. I'm not sure I could find the time to see the Vatican since I would likely be walking from restaurant to restaraunt eating everything on the menu. I would also want to check out their volleyball league because it is said to be extremely competitive.

  9. If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would travel to Bali, Indonesia, Puerto Rico, and New Zealand. These are not even nearly all the places I would love to visit. Bali has incredibly surfing and a beautiful atmosphere. New Zealand seems to hold many exciting opportunities because it has mountains, beaches, and breathtaking views. I have always wanted to snowboard and surf in the same day and I know you can do it here! I would love hiking the mountains and running on the amazing beaches. I think that Puerto Rico would be a nice place to go because it also has nice waves and gorgeous beaches. I'm sure there are also amazing backpacking opportunities in all these places. I hope when I am older I will get to visit all of these places and many more!

  12. If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would probably visit New Zealand. I have heard that it is one of the most incredible places in the world and also that there are countless things to do and see. I would have to bring a copy of the movie version of "The Lord of the Rings" Trilogy so that I could point out sights seen in the movie, as it was filmed in New Zealand.

  14. If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would like to go to Coney Island. I would love to go there because that is where my dad grew up and it is very interesting to see, his old schools and many other things. I would also like to visit Coney Island because most of my Dad's family still lives there and finally see them again. Getting to eat at one of the original Nathan's Hot Dogs would also be a nice place to visit.

If I could travel anywhere I would want to go somewhere tropical and warm such as the Turks and Caicos. The water looks amazing, calm and perfect for a long ocean swim.

  20. If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would love to go to the Bahamas and relax. I hear it is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful there and I have always wanted to go into the clear ocean water. It would be awesome! Also, I have noticed that a lot of people want to go to Australia and New Zealand, and it definitely lives up to the hype. I have family friends there, and so I went about 2 or 3 years ago for New Years in Sydney. We also went to Auburn and then snorkeled in the Great Barrier Reef! It was by far the best trip I have ever had and I would also LOVE to travel there again.

  25. If I could travel anywhere in the world, I'd love to go back to the Galapagos Islands. I went there, and to Ecuador, when I was about nine years old and I'd love to return now that I'm a certified scuba diver. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life, and I'm sure it'd be even better at my age now since I'll be sure to remember every detail.

If i could travel anywhere in the world it would be to the rainforest. I want to see all of the animals because one day they could be gone. I also want to witness nature working together in perfect harmony. Before we humans came alone everything was perfect, and we are now messing everything up over there. I want to see it before it is gone and tell my children about it, maybe write a book on my experiences there.
